Affiliate Program

Picture

Hello!!

Thank you so much for supporting my teaching by becoming an affiliate! On this page you'll find information about my courses and the affiliate process, promotional photos and of course how to access your links! If you have any troubles please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance.

About EACH course

I currently have two courses available on my Podia platform. For all of the specifics I suggest reading through the course pages. There is a full outline of all modules and frequently asked questions that will be helpful for you to know.
Draw Simple Figures is a step-by-step method to drawing people confidently with little to no reference. Students will gain the tools necessary to illustrate the figure in various positions with ease. We start by breaking the body down into basic shapes and lines to create a simple structure. Then we learn how to move, bend and twist those shapes around in order to bring life and energy to our figures. Knowing how the underlying structure of the body works and moves will allow you to use it as a framework for creating believable poses no matter your illustration style. Once we have a solid base for our drawing we’ll be covering aaalll of the details... hands, feet, head and face, expressions, hair and clothing.
Draw Simple Figures
Intro to Gesture Drawing (New Course!!)
Gesture drawing is a very quick form of sketching meant to capture the structure, movement and essence of the subject by focusing on simple shapes and lines, rather than getting caught up in specific details. Drawing in this way can help add movement and energy into your artwork, which is difficult to achieve when working in a slow and more considered way.

This age-old drawing technique is often used in life drawing classes or observational drawing where the artist is sketching from life in action, but it can be used for so much more! I’m excited to  share with you how I incorporate gesture drawing into my own art practice and to walk you through the process of how I use this technique to draw things like animals, people, and flowers.

Sharing is Caring!

You are welcome to share about each course however you feel comfortable. Newsletters, blog posts, your Instagram grid or  Instagram stories are all great ways to get the word out. You don't have to share in all of these spaces of course. Just do what works best for you.

You can use any of my copy or use it as a jumping off point if you like but you’ll probably find the best results by speaking from the heart about your experience taking the course or about why you feel the course is valuable.

You must disclose yourself as an affiliate any time you are promoting the course. Both for legal reasons and for maintaining the integrity of all parties. Easy ways to do this are to use tags such as #affiliate #proudaffiliate #partner or #proudpartner in your stories and posts. You will also need to further disclose, beyond using only hashtags, in any Instagram grid posts, newsletters or blog posts that you are an affiliate. However you can do this in a way that doesn’t sound too salesy by simply explaining why you are excited to be an affiliate.

Promotional Images

I’ve created a selection of promotional images for the course. You're welcome to use any of these or to share your own imagery. I will update these occasionally as I have new sales or add new courses.
Process images are especially helpful to use as promotional images if that is relevant to you.

Dates and Sales

Both Draw Simple Figures and Intro to Gesture Drawing are evergreen courses which means that they are always available for purchase. I have around 3 sales per year and will send info about all sales out to you in advance as well as any updates promotional images. However you are also welcome to promote your links year round.

Setting up your account

Follow the sign up link in the affiliate invitation email I sent you. You’ll then be prompted to sign in using the same account that you did for the course. Once logged in you can access both the course and your affiliate information through the menu at the top right of the screen. If you get lost or sign out you can always access your account again by logging in at the top of either course page. If you have not yet signed up for the course you will need to do so before signing up as an affiliate.

Get Your Links!

Affiliate links are tracked via cookies that last up to 15 days, so as long as a customer makes a purchase through your link in that amount of time you will be tracked as the affiliate and get a commission. If you have any discrepancies please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can figure it out together.

Once you’re logged into your account and have clicked the affiliate tab in the top right menu you'll be prompted to enter your PayPal email address for payments and then taken to your affiliate dashboard below. Here you can access all of your sales, links and analytics. You won't need to worry about getting new links every time I have a sale. These are your permanent links.

Payments are paid via Paypal. Because this is an evergreen course I’ll be sending out payments once a month on the first day of each month. There is a 7 day refund policy so only payments that have exceeded that 7 day window will be paid out.
